Caryl Jean Shipley

CARYL SHIPLEY, age 96, formally of Fairview & Antrim, died Friday, December 24, 2021, at Aultman Compassionate Care Center, Canton, OH. She was born April 26, 1925 in Barnesville a daughter of the late Clyde and Stella Fitzgerald Andrews.

She was a proud 1943 Barnesville Graduate, had attended the First Christian Church in Barnesville, the Fairview United Methodist, Valley Grange, Former Oxford Homemakers, and The Farm Bureau council.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Shipley who passed April 10, 2017; a brother CPL. Gerald Andrews, and a sister Mary Elizabeth.

Surviving is a niece, Lavonne Eckman of Louisville, her children Brandon, Breauna & Crystal O’Connor, Grandchildren Madison, Tristyn, Jaidyn, and Ashtyn; Good Friends and Neighbors Sheryl & Craig Winters.

Friends may call at the Bond Funeral Home, Londonderry on Monday, January 3, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will conclude visitation at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Karen Upson officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
