Iva Lucille Wayble age 98 of Freeport, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022, at her home with her loving family by her side.
She was married to Lewis Wayble on March 28, 1946, and he preceded her in death January 3, 2012.
She was born May 27, 1923 in Harrison County, to the late Charles and Elvie (Moore) Mallarnee. She was preceded in death by sisters, Zelma Gray, Lena Mehok, Lois Stine, Ruth Stockdale, and brothers, Harvey and Glenn Mallernee.
She is survived by two sons Raymond (Fawn) Wayble of Freeport and Dale (Carleen) Wayble of Barnesville; two daughters Bonnie (Don) Beckett of Center and Rebecca (Jim) Tuttle of Canal Winchester; 16 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren, and 25 great-great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker and was fondly known for her pies, noodles, quilting, and any kind of needlework. She was the oldest living member of Londonderry United Methodist Church.
A private family funeral will be held at Londonderry United Methodist Church, Londonderry, Ohio on Saturday, February 5, 2022. Burial will follow at the Antrim Presbyterian Cemetery. Bond Funeral Home, 22954 Cadiz Road, Freeport, OH 43973 has been entrusted to care for the family.
As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Iva’s name to The Antrim Presbyterian Cemetery Association, c/o Mark Wayble, 72347 Lodge Rd., Freeport, Ohio 43973.
